2010 is coming to an end now so that means this blog has been around for almost a year now. Looking back, a lot has happened to me this year, too much that I couldn't be bothered to blog most of it. I mean, calling this blog a daily diary seems like an over-statement. If you browse through the previous posts (just to be frank with you, this is my 63rd post) there's just not enough proof that 2010 has been such an eventful year for me, both in good and bad but yet educational. I think.
Let me, with all due respect, highlight my 2010 so far (in bullet form that is);
I had my driver's license. It was great since now I can drive around but no, cause I don't have my own car to drive around. Thinking back, I almost bought a car but with the amount of money I earn (yes, I almost bought a KIA koup, white, high-spec, 2.0) but it'll bleed me in the coming many months before I am fully employed as an Air Traffic Control Officer instead of being a Training ATCO which by all means, sucks.
I spent 2 months in Singapore doing my Primary Air traffic Course and some other nonsense which I excessively talked about non-stop in January. Now, I did mentioned in my post that I'll blog about it once I'm there, but unfortunately it's just an empty speech. I didn't blog anything about it, sadly. I wonder why. The internet there is like trillion times (note the exaggeration) faster than Brunei's "so-called" high speed internet but no, instead I spent my waking hours downloading series and movies, playing MapleSEA, jamming my PS3 and stream videos online (although I love it that you don't have to let the vidoes buffer for too long in YouTube) and just couldn't fit in the time to spent just an hour to pour my heart out on a digital paper. Don't get me wrong, I do still study or else I wouldn't have passed every single of my exams, although they weren't flying colors marks (and no I never mentioned exam discussions with neighbor or having cheatsheets inside my pencil case, that's totally absurd). And yes, I did went to Universal Studios once with my cousin and it was awesome! oh and did I mention the fact that my camera suddenly overwrite without my consent? that was a total bitch.
I finally hit the big 2! it was, how to say it...not awesome but seriously overwhelming. I'm actually pretty excited how my life will turn out now I'm in my twenties. So I'm actually embracing it with my two fat wide arms (and that context was totally unnecessary).
I have made some new friends and encounter some new enemies. Although I must say that these two events in life is almost unavoidable. The new friends I made were and are still are totally awesome and love them. Although I'm not going to leave out my current existing friends, who by all means are still awesome as always.
Oh wait...is that it? I know a lot of things happened this year but these were the only things I could recall? hahahahaha! UBER LAME!
Damn I suck.
Well of course since 2011 is coming, it has been a tradition to think of resolutions. Me? I'm not sure if I have or can afford a resolution since half of my 2010's resolutions were not done at all. Although I do have plans, not just big ones though. There are also small ones to include. So I guess there's no harm for me to mention some I think...?
Some of my BIG plans for 2011 includes;
To pass my Aerodrome course with good results and to do well in my intensive training once I got back, both in practical and oral.
Hopefully I'll do my licensing exam by the end of 2011. But I don't want to rush things, especially this one.
To do well during my training at Anduki so that my supervisor would see me as a potential SATCO (although, at this rate, is very much impossible. Sorry for the pessimistic thought).
Save a lot and maybe take a trip to England/Miami (although this is not impossible but might become a "long-term" goal). Or a weekend getaway to Phi Phi island.
So my BIG plans for 2011 just revolves around the need of me to pass my Aerodrome course and get a student trainee license.
And some of the small small plans for 2011 includes (and yes, they are small and might be irrelevant and that actually depends);
I need a new phone. I did recently tweet about not having any specific reason why I need a new phone but now I need a new phone to replace my LG BL40 Chocolate because to be honest, yes I love the music sound output, the bass is awesome, I can watch movies in it, even in HD but the interface lags, the reaction time is so slow and I seriously hate typing messages with it. But here's the catch; I don't know whether to get Apple, Android or Berry. The world of technology fascinates me and it's frustrating.
To get two sets of PlayStation Move so I can play with my friends and sisters and also buy new games.
Change my phone plan from pre-paid to post-paid. Frequently buying recharge cards irks me.
Get a car. I don't know what. The Cruze seems pretty nice.
Hopefully I don't get "allowances" anymore and get registered in SAPHRON and get a GID account and become an employee. This will take me to the next level of employment-ship.
Buy a new PC for home or upgrade the current existing PC and update it with the latest softwares.
Buy a new PC for me. Something that I can use for gaming. Please don't mention Alienware to me.
Upgrade my laptop OR sell my existing laptop and get a new one, probably a DELL Inspiron.
A new iPod and iTouch and iPad. iPod is for music, iTouch is for gaming and iPad is for boomerang or smacking someone's head if they pisses me off.
Buy me a new LCD HDTV. And if I can slip in, a small home theater in my room. That would be sweet!
Buy some new furnitures and stuffs for my room. A new wardrobe, new drawers, new mirror, new bed (single), study table, shelves and a TV table for my TV and PS3. I also need new curtains and maybe new paint job. I was thinking beige or lavender. Oh probably a new air-conditioner.
New uniforms, watches, belt, shoes, glasses, Rayban.
Get myself a contacts.
Keeping my hair short and retain the mohawk hair all year long and probably (hopefully) keep it for a very long time.
Be nice.
Okay....that was a long list and I am very sure these just covers maybe less than half of what I thought of before. Man, I have so many needs, unnecessary ones that is.
So let's wrap this up. Hopefully 2011 will be great and if I would rate my 2010 it would be a 7.5/10.
So it's my payday today and guess what? I'm broke HAHAHAHAHA! When I mentioned broke, it's not that I don't get my paycheck and all or I've got so many cuts, what I have left is just enough for me to get a small glass of hot tea at the nearest mamak stall. No. To be honest, yes I have the multiple bank notes inside my wallet but as I've mentioned in my earlier post, I've got so many things to spend! BILLS! damn bills. Phone bills, internet bills, Astro bills. Then I have to bring the car for servicing and fixing the air-con. Then it's my bro and dad's b'day dinner this coming Monday. My car fuel budget. My prepaid card budget. My maintenance budget. OHMYGOD! I want to be a student again PLEASEEE! take me out from this adultness!
*sighs* never would I thought that I'd go through this even if it's expected.
So anyway... I've cut my hair today YAAAY!! I did a fohawk again. I don't know why but I just kind of like the hairstyle... If you want to see it then come see me (OHMYGOD LAME!!) or follow me on twitter. I twit-pic-ed it. It looks gay anyway so don't waste your life searching through my twitter feeds for the picture. You can, instead, donate to charity. Life not wasted! right?
Well I've got nothing else to say. And it's been a while since I posted vids so here's one of the many of my personal favorites. ENJOY;
If you watched Glee, then you probably know this song. Kurt sang it in the duets episode of season 2. I simply love their dance routine. It's from the film Victor/Victoria. The film is great. I think, hahahahaha. I've never watched it. WTF.
it's fat and then it's thin and then it's fat again
I know I've mentioned this several times already but I need to get out of Brunei fast and take a vacation or something. I feel cooped up here and seeing friends taking their vacation to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Bangkok, Korea, Japan or Singapore really kills me. Boy, am I jealous!
I just need to see newer things...One day...One day I'll get my chance and paint my footprints all over the world. Amin.
On the other note, it seems that my Aerodrome training will commence is March although it is not yet confirmed (like again) and probably in Singapore...booo? yaaay? I don't know. I was hoping to go to Peregrine Academy in Bournemouth but as the Glee kids sing it; you can't always get what you wanted. Man I HATE that song. But Singapore seems nice too and major objection for Thailand because I am really super unfamiliar with Thailand plus I've never been there before too. For a vacation, yes. For courses, no, unless if you wish to include sexual intercourse maybe. Hahahahaha. hopefully it's Singapore because I am excited and I can take out the shopping list I did last few months which I crammed somewhere in my messy and not-so-organised room. Messy, yeah.
Anyway. I need to start saving money. I did plan to start December but I've got things to do this month and it needs money, like bringing the Bluebird to a workshop for servicing. Then my bro and dad's birthdays are coming up and I planned dinner for them somewhere. Cakes. My bro's cake costs about B$90 for a 4 pound and I was like WTF?! but you know you couldn't complain if it's for family....and my dad's, well maybe I'll stop by Mums Bakery later after work with sis. And then my broken laptop. Sheeeeesh Netcomm, it's been 4 months and it's not fully repaired yet? WTH! you think I enjoyed using my sister's Netbook? HELLO! It's a friggin' Netbook for pete's sake! Come on! and that concludes why my sister crammed her Acer Aspire One in her wardrobe for so damn long. At least i kept it's battery running, right?
And finally I need a new phone. And if you ask me what model/brand I'm planning to get well you can start chewing your socks off because apparently I haven't decided on one yet thank you very much. But I did had my eyes on the Desire HD and the iPhone 4. Oh technology, you're such a bitch when it comes to versions and types. Or maybe a Desire should do. Nevertheless I just need a smartphone that's all. And after that, I need to change my phone plan from pre-paid to post-paid and that also needs money....
*sighs* what has the world come to? It really is true that things starts to get difficult when you have a career. I blame the greens. Well I do love them but I still blame them. Humans.
