Breadwinner. Definition? A person who earns the most in your family. So what about them? Yeah big figures every month, I get it. Super BIG figures during bonus month, I know. So? What about it? What about them that makes them so special?
It gets tiring when you have a breadwinner in your house. I used to love it. Why? Because I can just ask them for something new or shiny. But it's totally different when you have already started a career. It's like "Why aren't you earning as much as them?" or "You should have taken a degree or master so that you earn just like them" or "Let's buy this, I mean I can buy this now but in your case, you should save up some first". Bitch.
People are being very judgmental now. It's a pain. It's a BIG pain in the neck. Why can't they just accept the fact that I can't become into whatever they wanted me to be in life. I just can't. I'll try but it'll just be a waste of time. When you don't have the talent why force? Because you believe a miracle will happen somewhere in the middle. Oh really? On what odds? Can't they just be happy for me, doing things that I'm happily doing? Some support they're giving. 10 points.
But really, it gets tiring. I'm so tired of it that I eventually embraced the negativities, with arms wide open. I love my job and I am not regretting it, yet. So don't make me feel bad about it. Don't shake the sand in the glass of water, it gets murky and nobody likes a murky water. Unless you're a mud fish.
The worst part is, I don't live with this breadwinner. And them is the breadwinner's family. So who am I again?
